The Anti-Odyssey

Welcome to the Anti-Odyssey. On the Anti-Odyssey, there are only facts. Here are the facts.

This week we went to an art museum. It was called the "Kunsthaus." In German, this means "Art House." However, because this art museum cost a lot of money, we decided to leave and come back on Sunday when it was free. We still haven't done that yet, but might soon.

Settle down, Beavis.
Majewskis, one and all.

Then, I went to New York. Chip and Elena got married. Ania, Loydie, Jacek, and I played Scrabble. Jacek cheated.

Then, I came back to Zurich. There, we saw this interesting statue. So, we took a picture. That's the picture we took over there at the right.

Heeeeere's Kristanne!

All roads lead to Zurich?

Then, we rented a car so that we could drive other places in Switzerland. This picture is us driving the car we rented.

First, we drove the car to Zug, a town in Switzerland. Then, we drove the car to Lucerne, another town in Switzerland. This is a picture of Kristanne on a covered bridge in Lucerne, in Switzerland.

Like Kristanne on a bridge over Lucerne waters

The rivers are alive with the sound of swimming dachsunds.

There are no dogs allowed on covered bridges in Lucerne, a town in Switzerland.

Covered bridges are scenic. So, we took a picture of me on the covered bridge, too. This is me on the covered bridge in Lucerne.

Mandatory covered bridge tourist shot.

Don't even think about it.

This is a funny sign we saw. So, we took a picture of it. It's funny, don't you think?

Then we drove to Wiedlisbach, a town in Switzerland where Kristanne's family is from. We found a mailbox with her family's name on it, so we rang the doorbell.

Knock knock? Who's there? Bohner. Bohner who?

Thar's Bohners in them thar valleys.

They were happy to see us. We drove to a mountain above Wiedlisbach and took this picture. There was a good view.

Then, we ate dinner. This picture is of Hugo cooking the dinner that we ate.

Barbecue Master With Floating Beers.

One big happy family.

Soon, other Bohners came and we ate some more.

Then, we drove home to Zurich. Because it was National Switzerland Day, there were fireworks. This is a picture of the fireworks.

Zurich is burning.

See you next time on the Odyssey!
